Middlesbrough is home to one of the fastest growing business communities in Teesside, an evolving digital and transport infrastructure and a celebrated cultural scene.

As the town continues to grow, we wanted to celebrate the advances it’s been making with our Capture Modern Middlesbrough campaign!

We’re teaming up with colleges and schools from across Middlesbrough, including Middlesbrough college and Teesside University, to challenge their students to capture what they believe encapsulates a ‘Modern Middlesbrough’. Whether that’s old architecture mirrored against its contemporary counterpart, a high street filled with avid shoppers or a thriving educational campus.

The online competition will run from January 21^st – February 4^th, when students will have the opportunity to upload their photos of Modern Middlesbrough to Twitter with the hashtag #CaptureModernMiddlesbrough.

And the prize? An incredible DSLR camera, giving you the chance to escalate your photography skills and hone your already established craft!

We can’t wait to see the efforts from our local students and we look forward to celebrating our wonderful town of Middlesbrough!
